INVO Cell Module (1 Day) $1500 INVO cell is becoming widely utilized in fertility centers as an additional treatment opportunity for centers to offer. The trainee should be familiar with basic embryology 101 skills. Each trainee will learn how to load and unload the device successfully. Additionally, time will be spent on minimal stimulation and how to work with conventional inseminations and embryo selection for transfer post INVO culture.

Andrologist From Zero to Hero

Andrology module will prepare the candidate for working independently in the andrology with a decreased time to competence. They will need supervision in the beginning and should be fully competent on their own withing a few weeks.

Embryologist From Zero to Hero(< 1 year training plan schedule)

After 1 week of embryology 101 training the trainee works 2 months in the IVF refining retrievals, transfers, vitrification and embryo assessments. Spend 2 days at the IVF Academy learning ICSI then another 2 months refining theses skills. Then a final 2 days at the IVF Academy on biopsy then a final 2 months refining the skills on biopsy and you have a fully trained embryologist in < 6 months.

Medical Doctors, Senior Embryologists & Laboratory Supervisors

Once per year it is not a bad idea to have doctors, senior and supervisory level embryologists practice new skills and techniques, procedures, and new equipment to better perform their own skills. These leaders are the people responsible for selecting equipment and supplies for the laboratory and can practice alternative systems and fine tune skills for all the above procedures.

Online Modules $25

The IF Academy is the only center that offers the online modules for each of the above training sessions. The same great lecture and same great demonstrations while you do the practice work in your home lab.

Embryology 101 ( 5 Days) $2500

A comprehensive 5 day module focused on learning the fundamentals of embryology and andrology including quality control, quality management and laboratory safety in the IVF laboratory. Hands on focus for manipulating embryos, oocytes into microdroplets, set up of culture and in depth understanding of proper culture conditions for oocytes, embryos and sperm. Learn the basic understanding of types of fertilization and embryo checks. Learn about incubators and how certain gases work in each incubator Round off the week with introduction to vitrification of embryos.

ICSI Module (2 Days) $2500

A 2 day course with an in depth understanding of sperm interaction with the oocyte and maximizing fertilization through microsurgical techniques. Majority of the time is spent on performing an average of 100 or more sperm injections into oocvtes. Part of the time is focused on microscope training on how to troubleshoot problems with the microscope or injectors in the event of equipment failure.

Blastocyst Biopsy Module (2 Days) $2500

A 2 day course with an in depth understanding of embryology genomics and trophectoderm biopsy microsurgical techniques. Majority of the time is spent on performing an average of 50 or more blastocyst biopsies and tubing of cells. Part of the time is focused on microscope training on how to troubleshoot problems with the microscope or injectors in the event of equipment failure

Vitrification Module (1 Day) $1500

Over the one day training session the trainee is introduced to not only the techniques of how to successfully vitrify oocytes and embryos, but also the science of why certain cryoprotectants both penetrating and non-penetrating components are important in the cryopreservation and warming procedures. Over the one day course most trainees perform over 20 to 30 vitrification/warming cycles. Andrology Module (5 Days) $2500

A comprehensive 5 day module focused on learning the fundamentals of andrology including quality control, quality management and laboratory safety in the andrology laboratory. While on site the trainee will perform 15 to 20 diagnostic semen analysis including concentration, motility and morphology. Additional techniques are performing 15 to 20 straight washes, gradient washes, swim up, sperm freezes, and Zymot preparation methods. Learn the basic understanding of types of medias utilized for each step and why they are important in respects to use downstream for IVF or IUI.
